Parent Center
Welcome to Kennedy High School and the Parent Center! We are happy to provide
you with this booklet and hope that it will help answer some of your questions.
We hope to see you in the Parent Center.
Founded in 2000 our group was created to fill the great need to reach out to
the parents and help the school bridge the communication gap and foster effective
collaboration between the school and home. Our group’s aim is to increase the
parental involvement.
We are a team of three bilingual and bicultural parent liaisons funded by the
Title One program. We work from the Parent Center under the guidance of the Title
One program coordinator and Los Angeles Unified School District.
