Founded in 2000 our group was created to fill the great need to reach out to the parents and help the school bridge the communication gap and foster effective collaboration between the school and home. Our groups aim is to increase parental involvement.
We are a team of two bilingual and bi-cultural parent community representatives funded by the Title One program. We work from the Parent Center under the guidance of the Title One program coordinator and Los Angeles Unified School District.

- To help parents develop parenting skills that will enable them to meet the basic obligations of family life and foster condition at home that emphasize the importance of education and learning.
- Promoting clear, two-way communication between the school and families regarding school programs and students; progress.
- Provide parents with the linkages and help them develop the skills they will need to access the school community support services to better strengthen student learning and development.
