I was very fortunate to have an outstanding High School drafting teacher who inspired me to follow in his footsteps. When the magnet school was formed in 1999, I was hired to teach the architecture strand. Putting my industry experience to good use, I create current, relevant, and standards-based interdisciplinary projects that prepare my students for careers in the architecture and design industries. Additionally, I sponsor our school's SkillsUSA chapter, a student organization dedicated to leadership and skill education -- and career readiness.
I live in Granada Hills with my wife and two sons. Our home is a Los Angeles Architectural Landmark and we take pride in our city. My wife and I are collectors of mid century modern home furnishings, clothing, and cars.
I have just finished the restoration of my 1960 Dodge Polara 9 passenger station wagon
